E-MINDER: the Church of the Incarnation

THE WEEK OF APRIL 20 – APRIL 27, 2008

The Gospel for this upcoming Sunday, April 27, is John 15: 1-8.  In the fifth verse, Jesus says, "I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing."  The image of Jesus as the vine is portrayed above with the twelve apostles as the branches.  The Rector will explore this text is his sermon entitled "Branch Office."
