Worship Schedule
Sunday Services
| 8:30am | Holy Eucharist |
| The 8:30 am worship service takes place in the Chapel of the Nativity and includes a brief homily (sermon) and organ music (there is no choir). The service follows the 1928 Book of Common Prayer and tends to conclude by 9:00 am. | |
| 11:00am | Holy Eucharist (1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays) or Morning Prayer (2nd and 4th Sundays) |
| The 11:00am service is an hour-long celebration of Holy Eucharist on the first, third, and fifth Sundays of the month, as well as major feast days. The second and fourth Sundays usually offer a service of Morning Prayer (the sermon rather than Communion is the culmination of Morning Prayer worship). After Morning Prayer, there is a brief (15 minute) service of Holy Eucharist for those who wish to receive Communion. These services are “Rite I,” which means the prayers are written in traditional language. | |
| 5:00pm | Candlelight Communion |
| The evening service is a contemplative celebration of the Holy Eucharist. It incorporates chant, silence, and contemporary prayers from Enriching Our Worship, an authorized supplemental liturgy of the Episcopal Church. The service concludes by 5:45 pm, at which time refreshments are served. |
